Fire Department

Established in 1922, the city of Riley is served by the Riley Fire Department.

This department is a 100% volunteer organization. It’s members are fully trained and certified firefighters who respond to calls where and when they happen.

They assist and are assisted by the Riley County Fire Department based in Manhattan, often times crossing over into multiple areas of the county when needed.

The department also runs a Jr. Fire Fighter Program. Young men and women of the community are trained and then have the opportunity to assist senior firefighters.
