The City of Riley offers standard municipal services to all of its citizens. Water and sewer services are provided by the city and its public works department. Trash and recycling services are provided by the city’s current trash vendor, Average Joe’s. You can learn more about each service utilizing the previously provided links .
Moving In?
- We will need the following to start services:
- Completed Utility Application Form
- $75.00 connection fee
- Copy of Driver’s License
Billing Cycle:
- Bills are due on the 10th of each month
- Bills are sent by the 18th of each month
- Bills are for the prior month’s service (i.e. Bills recieved in January will be for water usage during the month of December)
Fees:
- Fee to connect to city services $75.00 (non-refundable)
- Reconnect fee $100.00 (non-refundable)
- Late fees are 10% of bill after the 10th
- Services will be shut off after 10 days of an unpaid bill, and residents will be charged a reconnect fee plus the full bill to reconnect to services after that time
Moving Out?
- We will need the following when you move out:
- Forwarding address (the mail returns the bills and notes the forwarding address, it does not forward them)
- Date service is to be discontinued
