Trash Rates (Waste Management): 

• $26.40 per month for one can

• $41.40 per month for two cans

  • Trash is picked up on Tuesday.  Please have trash out by 6:00 am on Tuesday mornings. 

Please note that Waste Management uses a truck with an automatic arm, so they can't pick up other trash cans. If you need a second trash can please contact city hall at 785-485-2802. 

Recycling (Waste Mangagement): 

• $13.50 per month

  • Curbside recycling is available upon request.  Recycling is picked up every other Tuesday starting August 12, 2025. Recycling calendar. Recycling tote should be out by 6:00 am on pickup days. Additional Recycling information
